Job description

Strength and Conditioning Coach - Women's Lacrosse, Volleyball, and Men's and Women's Tennis.
Position Summary:
To assist in the development, promotion and supervision of all facets of the University's Strength & Conditioning program. Assist the head coach in guiding student-athletes through a regimen of exercises to optimize performance and decrease potential for injury.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement sport-specific strength & conditioning programs for Women's Lacrosse, Volleyball, and Men's and Women's Tennis. Work directly with head coaches of assigned teams to best prepare student-athletes for competition.
  • Assist the head coach in designing and implementing sport-specific strength & conditioning programs. Work directly with head coaches of assigned teams to best prepare student-athletes for competition.
  • Assist the head coach with upkeep, cleanliness, and security of the varsity weight room.
  • Assist the head coach in carrying out rehabilitation for injured student-athletes in coordination with the Sports Medicine staff.
  • Maintain student-athlete records and monitor progress of training programs.
  • Assist in designing, education, and logistics of our internship program and social media accounts.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • Masters Preferred
  • Minimum of 1 Year experience
  • Certification by the NSCA - Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa) or equivalent"
  • Current First Aid
  • Current CPR Certification
