Job description

Position Summary

The Paid Media Specialist supports Holley’s performance marketing efforts by executing, monitoring, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across key digital platforms. Reporting to the Paid Media Manager, this role is responsible for the day-to-day trafficking, analysis, and quality assurance of paid media campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and conversion across Holley business verticals. The Paid Media Specialist works directly within ad platforms, supports testing and reporting initiatives, and collaborates with internal teams and agency partners to ensure campaigns are launched accurately, on time, and aligned with business goals.


Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Campaign Execution

Build, launch, and monitor paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other digital advertising platforms. Support day-to-day campaign trafficking, setup, and pacing to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and efficiently. Assist with audience creation, keyword research, and negative keyword management to improve campaign targeting and performance. Help maintain creative asset libraries, ensuring ad copy, creative files, and naming conventions are properly tagged, organized, and up to date. Support UTM tagging and tracking link QA to ensure accurate attribution and campaign measurement.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring

Pull daily and weekly campaign performance reports, highlighting trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization. Track key paid media metrics including CPC, CPM, CTR, CPA, and ROAS. Monitor budget pacing and escalate spend or delivery issues promptly to the Paid Media Manager. Document campaign performance and contribute to regular reporting processes that inform media strategy and decision-making.

Testing and Optimization

Support A/B testing efforts by building ad variants, tracking results, and documenting learnings. Assist in identifying opportunities to improve targeting, creative performance, and campaign efficiency. Research competitor advertising, industry trends, and platform updates, sharing relevant findings with the team. Help ensure campaigns follow best practices for structure, targeting, creative rotation, and optimization.

Cross Functional Coordination

Partner with internal marketing teams, creative teams, product stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure assets are delivered on time and to spec. Collaborate with team members to align campaign execution with promotional calendars, product priorities, and business objectives. Support communication between stakeholders to ensure campaign details, timelines, and deliverables are accurate and clearly understood.

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Foundational experience working in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, including building and managing campaigns.
  • Strong working knowledge of core paid media metrics such as CPC, CPM, CTR, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulas.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to catch errors before campaigns go live.
  • Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and grow within a performance marketing environment.

Preferred

  • Google Ads certification, Meta Blueprint certification, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience working in a marketing agency environment or internship experience in a digital marketing role.
  • Exposure to campaign tracking, attribution, and QA processes.
  • Experience supporting multiple campaigns or brands in a fast-paced marketing environment.
