Summary:
The Social Media Student Worker will be responsible for assisting in the creation, management, and execution of social media content to support the department's communication goals. This role will provide hands-on experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and analytics while fostering the development of key career-ready skills in communication, creativity, and adaptability.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and creating engaging content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all social media content aligns with the department's goals and Maryville's mission.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and prepare reports to guide content strategy.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to enhance the department's online presence.
  • Support other communication or marketing efforts as needed.
  • Assist in planning and creating engaging content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
