About the Role

We are seeking a high-impact Director of Learning, Development & Culture to lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise talent and capability programs across the Americas and Asia Pacific.

This role goes beyond traditional L&D-it is a program-driven leadership position responsible for building scalable talent pipelines, strengthening site-level leadership capability, and embedding a culture of learning aligned to operational growth.

Reporting to Head of Talent & Learning & Culture, this leader will operate at the intersection of Talent Acquisition, Operations, and HR, with a strong emphasis on program management, talent pipelining, and field execution.

Highly prefer candidates to be based in North Carolina or South Carolina located near a major airport with 50% travel.

What You'll Do (Day-to-Day Focus)

  • Build and manage a network of field-based facilitators/trainers

Site Leadership & Culture Enablement

  • Design and implement site leader capability programs tied to operational performance and engagement
  • Partner with operations leaders to embed:
    • Leadership expectations
    • Culture standards
    • Talent development practices at the site level
  • Drive culture initiatives through learning, leadership behaviors, and structured programs (not just messaging)

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute the annual learning and talent development roadmap
  • Align programs to:
    • Workforce planning
    • Business growth priorities
    • Critical capability gaps
  • Lead needs analysis and prioritization across functions and regions

  • Provide executive-level updates with clear insights and recommendations
  • Continuously improve programs based on data and business outcomes

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and develop a small high-performing L&D and program management team
  • Drive a culture of accountability, execution, and continuous improvement

What You Need to Succeed

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • 8-12+ years of progressive experience across learning, talent, or program management
  • Proven experience building and scaling structured talent programs (early career, leadership, pipelines)
  • Demonstrated success in program management execution (not just strategy). Hands on leader who can design, develop, and deliver impactful results.
  • Experience supporting high-volume, operational environments
  • Strong facilitation and executive presence
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into action
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills
