We are seeking a Systems Engineer who will provide expert technical support for product sustainment, fleet modernization, and Human Systems Integration (HSI) efforts across the UH series aircraft fleet. This role requires strong analytical skills, in depth avionics knowledge, and the ability to collaborate closely with government and contractor teams to ensure readiness, supportability, and mission effectiveness. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise for product sustainment, planning, coordination, and HSI influence during initial functional task allocation among personnel, hardware, and software.
  • Deliver technical input on the design, integration, supportability, operation, utilization, maintenance, and repair requirements of avionics and aircraft survivability/countermeasures systems for the UH fleet.
  • Support development and updates of Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) and annexes in accordance with AR 700 127 and DA PAM 700 127.
  • Conduct sustainment and readiness analysis and provide recommendations addressing long term system support impacts.
  • Provide technical recommendations and updates to the UH fleet sustainment and publications teams.
  • Develop draft technical procedures, manuscripts, illustrations, and parts listings to support Field and Sustainment level maintenance activities.

Required

  • ABET accredited degree
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting DoW acquisition, engineering programs (military rotary wing of fixed wing platform experience is highly preferred).
  • Experience in sustainment engineering or life cycle management.
  • Familiarity with AR 700 127, DA PAM 700 127, and LCSP development.
  • Ability to create and review technical documentation and maintenance procedures.
  • Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and technical data.
  • Must have an in-scope DoW Secret security clearance
