Title:
Senior Technical Advisor - Aviation Platforms/Engineering Systems Program Summary KBR's Aviation & Ground Systems Directorate provides Systems Engineering & Integration support to the Army's Aviation and Ground soldiers with project based and full-time personnel support services. KBR sets the standard with a wide range of services including Government Engineering, Logistics, Business, and International focuses, while ensuring customer satisfaction and providing excellence in contract deliverables. Job Summary: KBR is searching for a Senior Technical Advisor to develop and implement integrated intelligence, s urveillance , and reconnaissance (ISR) solutions . In this role, the candidate will provide technical leadership for the cross -functional teams responsible for executing the customer - defined tasks . The candidate will ensure that distinct systems, platforms, and technologies work together seamlessly to enable real-time data dissemination, robust decision support, and enhanced operational effectiveness across all domains. Responsibilities and Duties: The Senior Technical Advisor serves as the chief technical authority and is responsible for strategic planning, development, execution, and management of comprehensive , data-driven and actionable technology enhancement solutions involving engineering advancements, enterprise architecture, secure intelligence and operational environment solutions, data interoperability, or multi-vendor ecosystems. Leading cross-functional technical teams, the Candidate is accountable for delivering integrated and advanced solutions on time and within scope, ensuring continuity of technical vision and retaining institutional knowledge throughout the project lifecycle. Additional responsibilities include: * Leveraging Government-provided secure infrastructure, networks, systems, and software, overseeing technology development, system architecture, platform integration, and data & threat analysis efforts/solutions. * Establishing a standard methodology that is scalable and flexible to build rapid prototypes as well as accommodate various solutions that are functional and feasible to meet the customer's mission and objectives. * Overseeing prototype demonstrations in operationally relevant environments, conducting technical and operational assessments against defined performance criteria, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet real-world requirements. * Engaging with a Change Review Panel (CRP) to mitigate and approve changes to projects' baseline, including scope, schedule, cost, and compliance requirements. * As a mission-critical expert, assisting with stakeholder coordination and briefing project information as well as assisting the customer in solutioning based on specified customer requests. * Working in conjunction with the Program Management team to develop detailed project technical responses and cost estimates. * Providing supervision and mentorship to multi discipline engineers, technical leads, and technicians. * Understanding contractual requirements to ensure successful contract performance. Basic Qualifications * Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline
* 10-15 years' direct experience with engineering/integration activities supporting the Government, preferably with the Army * Direct demonstrated experience managing aviation and product development projects for DoD aviation including hardware and software * Must have exposure to model-based systems engineering techniques and human-systems integration principles * Direct experience with agile development lifecycle * Direct and relevant experience with ISR Architecture infrastructure including Space, Aerial and Ground. * Demonstrated performance of integration of new and emerging technologies with medium Technology Readiness Levels into an operational environment. * Recent and relevant experience with AI/ML capabilities for sensor fusion, data compression and implementation of actionable intelligence. * Relevant experience with aviation avionics system architecture development for on-platform integration and qualification * Direct and relevant experience with ISR related sensors (i.e.: RF/EW, SAR, EO/IR, SIGINT) * Understanding of communications and networking for DoD networks * Place of performance is in Huntsville, AL or in the Washington D.C. area * Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance is required * CONUS and potentially OCONUS travel will be required Preferred Qualifications * Knowledge of the Army's Vision 2030 Plan * Advanced knowledge of cutting-edge technologies (i.e., Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), autonomous systems, advanced networking and real- time data fusion) * Experience supporting Army Intelligence a nd Security Enterprise (AISE) a nd relevant stakeholders * Experience with Army ISR technologies, Army and Joint Force platforms , associated sensor s and networks , and skills above * Program Management Experience * Product Line Management Experience KBR Benefits KBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
