Helpdesk Tier II
Alexandria, VA Pay From: $35.00/hr - $43.00/hr 10:00AM – 10:00PM (2 days on, 3 days off (with 2 weeks notice on shift sched))
MUST:
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Experienced Tier II Helpdesk Specialist (Tier II Helpdesk Specialist) 3 - 5 plus years of professional Help Desk Tier II experience required
- 3- 5 5 plus years of Active Directory experience required
- 3 years of experience supporting security applications (VMS, Client, PSIM, SNMP devices)
- Microsoft Windows / Microsoft SQL Server & Reporting
- Basic networking protocols / Electronic Security Systems (Client, IDS, CCTV)
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
DUTIES:
Provide Tier II operations center support for security and IT applications including video management systems, access control systems, SNMP devices, and PSIM platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues from Tier I support. Review work orders and validate troubleshooting steps completed by Tier I technicians. Perform software repair, diagnostic testing, and system analysis. Utilize remote desktop tools to access and resolve user issues. Research and develop solutions for new or unknown technical problems. Collaborate with Tier III support and development teams to analyze system code and data. Ensure timely resolution of issues while maintaining high customer service standards.
