Corporate Tax - Internship - Year Round
The CME Group Corporate Tax group is comprised of professionals with a variety of tax experiences. The team focuses on all domestic and international areas impacting the company including research, planning, audit defense, and compliance. We are looking for an enthusiastic accounting major to assist with all areas of compliance as well as special projects.
The corporate tax intern will expand their knowledge of accounting and tax concepts by assisting the Corporate Tax Team on the following projects: preparation of corporate federal and state income tax returns, gathering data for foreign informational reporting, organizing information to be provided for federal and state income and sales tax audits, as well as other projects.
Requirements:
  • Accounting major required. Basic college tax course a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Preference for students entering their Sophomore year of college, though Juniors with relevant coursework or experience are welcome to apply.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Local to Chicago
