Talent Recruiter / University Relations Recruiter

Our client, a leading national manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Early Talent Recruiter to support university recruiting initiatives, internship programs, co-op hiring, and entry-level talent acquisition across multiple business functions and locations.

This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with universities and hiring managers, and has a passion for developing pipelines of emerging talent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for internship, co-op, and entry-level positions across manufacturing and corporate functions.
  • Develop and execute university recruiting strategies to attract top student and early-career talent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, student organizations, and career services offices.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, campus recruiting events, networking programs, and industry conferences.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, target school lists, and talent pipelines.
  • Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates while providing an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through innovative sourcing techniques and recruiting technologies.
  • Manage requisitions across multiple locations and business units while ensuring timely communication and process efficiency.
  • Leverage recruiting metrics and reporting to provide regular updates to leadership and hiring managers.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, EEO regulations, ADA requirements, OFCCP guidelines, and hiring policies.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, candidate engagement, and campus outreach strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in University Recruiting, Campus Recruiting, Early Talent Acquisition, or related recruiting functions.
  • Experience recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, operations, or corporate entry-level positions.
  • Proven success managing internship, co-op, and recent graduate hiring programs.
  • Strong relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Knowledge of university recruiting platforms, including Handshake.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday ATS.
  • Experience with Paradox.
  • Experience utilizing Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
  • Manufacturing industry recruiting experience is a plus.
