Our goal is to provide practical, actionable content that helps viewers navigate their professional lives and make informed career decisions.

About the Position (non-paid internship):

Start-Up Guys is seeking a passionate volunteer Video Editor to help us produce high-quality, engaging content for our growing YouTube audience. This role involves editing raw footage into polished videos that maintain viewer engagement while delivering valuable career insights. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and excited about contributing to content that helps people advance their careers.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of YouTube content formats and audience retention strategies
  • Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines
  • Portfolio or examples of previous editing work (YouTube content preferred)
  • Reliable communication and commitment to consistent output

Responsibilities:

  • Edit 1-2 videos per week (8-15 minutes each) from raw footage to final product
  • Add graphics, text overlays, transitions, and B-roll to enhance storytelling
