How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Procurement Manager – Corporate Services & Professional Services, you'll play a critical role in shaping how Lubrizol partners with the external suppliers and service providers that help drive our business forward. From consulting and legal services to marketing, human resources, travel, and contingent workforce solutions, you'll lead sourcing strategies that unlock value, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support enterprise-wide priorities. Working across a global network of stakeholders, you'll influence key business decisions, optimize spend, manage risk, and help deliver innovative solutions that enable growth, operational excellence, and long-term success. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions that advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead regional and global category strategies for Corporate Services and Professional Services within a matrix organization.
  • Develop and execute category plans that align procurement priorities with business objectives and long-term growth strategies.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and rate-based contracts to secure favorable business outcomes.
  • Drive cost optimization, supplier consolidation, demand management, and strategic sourcing initiatives that deliver measurable value.
  • Establish and manage preferred supplier programs while enhancing contract compliance and spend visibility.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators related to savings, supplier performance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Build strong partnerships with Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Information Technology, Corporate Communications, and business leaders.
  • Lead Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to identify best-value solutions.
  • Strengthen supplier governance models, manage supplier performance, and proactively mitigate operational, contractual, financial, and compliance risks.
  • Support enterprise transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that enhance service quality and stakeholder experience.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years of procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, or related business experience.
  • Experience managing Professional Services, Corporate Services, consulting, Human Resources, marketing, travel, or other indirect spend categories.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management capabilities.
  • Experience negotiating Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and rate-based service contracts.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions, regions, cultures, and organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and digital procurement tools.

Preferred Qualifications that Drive You Forward 

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced degree.
  • Experience sourcing and managing consulting, contingent labor, or enterprise-wide professional services categories.
  • Knowledge of professional services pricing models, rate structures, and workforce engagement strategies.
  • Experience supporting Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs.
  • Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent.
  • Advanced sourcing, supplier management, or negotiation training.
  • Spanish bilingual written and verbal communication skills.
