The Leonardo DRS Naval Power Systems business is a trusted provider of innovative naval gas and hybrid power systems, control technology and support solutions for the U.S. Navy and navies around the world.
Job Summary
Join our Menomonee Falls, WI team as a Manufacturing Engineer supporting production of power control and power conversion systems and subsystems for the US Navy and our allies.
What You Will Do
  • Apply basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation in support of manufacturing operations
  • May prepare plans, conduct support studies, provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations with the guidance of a senior-level Engineer
  • Work cross-funtionally to ensure quality design and manufacturing processes
  • Follow standard practices/procedures in analyzing situations or data
  • Involved in the development of manufacturing process plans, test requirements, and manufacturing flow, and capacity plans
  • Review detail designs for manufacturability and producibility

Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in an applicable engineering field + internship or entry level experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: manufacturing, production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, software, and robotics
  • An energetic, self-starter willing to take on various projects and bring them to completion
  • Comfortable working alone and with a team
