Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist, you will be essential for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and Special Procedures/Radiology. You will ensure radiation safety and comprehensive patient care from all age groups, supporting our Cardiac Services.

Every day you will assist in complex procedures, maintain strict quality control, and meticulously document patient records and charges. You will also communicate effectively with healthcare teams and actively participate in departmental education and training programs.

To be successful, you will competently perform imaging procedures using specialized equipment, interpret findings, and tailor patient care based on age and cultural factors. Your strong communication skills will be key to educating patients and fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

  • Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
  • Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
  • Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
  • Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
  • Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
  • Understands role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus offered for qualified new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible. However, we are offering a Referral Bonus for this role.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Graduate of a Radiology technologist Program
  • 2 years of experience as a Technologist with 6 months experience in Cath lab/Special Procedures preferred or enrolled/accepted to a Cath Lab training program or internship
  • CA Radiology Tech license
  • Basic Life Support

Preferred:

  • High School Graduate
  • ARRT
