Job description

Cath Lab Tech – Cardiac/IR/EP

Cath Lab Tech – Cardiac/IR/EP

Schedule

4x10 hour shifts, Days

Assignment Details

Assignment length: 13 or 26 weeks; Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (may be called off for 1 ten-hour shift per 2 weeks)

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience
  • Required clinical experience: EP, Interventional Radiology (IR), vascular, monitoring, neurointervention
  • RCIS or ARRT (R) required for Cath Lab screening
  • References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years (may include charge RNs/leads)
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS
  • Experience with charting in Epic is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Provide monitoring and care during procedures in the cath lab
  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures
  • Participate in STEMI, PCI, left and right heart cath procedures
  • Utilize advanced support devices including IABP, Impella, and temporary LVAD support
  • Engage in interventional radiology tasks such as embolizations and extremity angio
  • Involve in neurointervention procedures and CRM device implants
Compliance / Notes

Must be willing to work 2 of these 3 holidays — Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year. Approved time off requests are limited to one per 13-week assignment. Credentialing may involve up to 10-12 weeks for pending licenses.
