Physician Assistant – Cardiac Surgery (Locum)

Contract: 3 Years Location: Syracuse, NY (Downtown & Community campuses)

Minimum Experience:

1 year (inpatient preferred)

Certifications Required:
  • NYS PA license + NCCPA certified (or eligible)
  • NPI + Medicare PTAN/enrollment
  • CPR & ACLS
Key Duties:
  • First Assist in CABG, valve repair, TAVR, aortic dissection
  • Endoscopic vein/radial artery harvesting (preferred)
  • ICU/step-down patient management
  • Pulling arterial lines, chest tubes, IABPs, pacing wires
  • Multi-disciplinary rounds, discharges, consults
