Job description

LPN - Behavioral Health

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an LPN to join our outstanding and compassionate team in New Port Richey-Urgent Care! This is a field-based role.

The LPN:

  • Utilizes the nursing process: assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating to achieve the goals of nursing practice.
  • Will be familiar with medical clearance guidelines and act as the liaison with physicians and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners.
  • Will coordinate and complete all admissions in a timely manner inclusive of nurse- to nurse reports, triages, treatment plans, medication management and all related documentation.
  • Will complete tasks as assigned by the RN charge nurse.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

  • LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required Education:

  • High School or Equivalent
  • Associates in Nursing - preferred

Experience:

  • 1 year behavioral health preferred
  • 1 year in nursing preferred
