Job description

The Democratic Attorneys General Association is the official campaign committee dedicated to supporting and electing Democratic AGs. Democratic AGs serve as the frontline defense on everyday issues that affect residents in 24 states and the District of Columbia. DAGA recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic incumbents through a variety of services.

There are several vital Attorney General races in 2026 election cycle.

DAGA is looking for the best Finance Director's to work on these races. DAGA works closely with candidates and incumbents and intends to share qualified resumes with these campaigns as the campaigns' positions become available. These are intended as full-time positions in these states.

Job Requirements and Skills

  • At least one cycle of fundraising experience within a political campaign
  • Experience creating and executing a campaign finance plan including candidate calltime, fundraisers (both in-person and virtually), digital fundraising and other
  • Experience working with Campaign Manager to implement efficient cashflow and budgeting procedures
  • Experience recruiting hosts and staffing campaign fundraisers both in-state and nationally
  • Extensive donor research at all levels of the ballot, statewide candidate experience preferred
  • Experience managing multiple staff, interns, and volunteers on various timelines
  • Must be willing to move in state
  • Previous work with NGP, Numero, or other political CRMs a plus
  • Previous work filing campaign finance reports a plus
