The Traffic Engineering team is looking for a talented and passionate Software Development Engineer to play a critical role in building Amazon's next-gen data lakes and cloud networking fabric that will help drive innovation at Amazon.

Your work will be highly visible and is instrumental in helping Amazon serve record breaking amounts everyday including flagship events such as Prime Day. Key job responsibilities
* 5+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
* 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
* Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Experience building large-scale software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end software systems and all points in between.
