Pritchard Industries is seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Engineer Helper to join our team. The Building Engineer Helper will be responsible for supports building operations under the supervision of stationary engineers. Responsibilities include assisting with maintenance and repair tasks, monitoring mechanical equipment, handling basic plumbing and electrical work, maintaining cleanliness of boiler and mechanical rooms. Responding to building service requests and supporting day to day operations to ensure safe and efficient building performances.
Responsibilities
  • Supports building operations under the supervision of stationary engineers.
  • Responsibilities include assisting with maintenance and repair tasks, monitoring mechanical equipment, handling basic plumbing and electrical work, maintaining cleanliness of boiler and mechanical rooms.
  • Responding to building service requests and supporting day to day operations to ensure safe and efficient building performances.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / LICENSES
  • High School Diploma of GED Equivalent
  • Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Life Safety Systems
  • Posses and maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record.

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS / DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity with automated building controls, preventive maintenance techniques and knowledge of pneumatic controls
  • Must work well under pressure.
