How to get into hyperbaric welding?

To become a hyperbaric welder, you typically need to have a welding certification such as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Certified Welder (CW), along with specialized training in underwater or hyperbaric welding. Gaining experience in commercial or underwater welding and obtaining a commercial diving certification are also important steps. Safety training and understanding of working in high-pressure environments are essential for this role.

What is the highest paid welder position?

The highest paid welder positions are often in specialized fields such as underwater or hyperbaric welding, which require advanced skills, certifications, and safety training. These roles can command six-figure salaries due to the hazardous environment and technical expertise needed. Experience, certifications, and working in remote or challenging environments typically influence higher pay for welders.
