Job description

Information Systems/Data & Analytics Internship Rotation Program

The Auto Club has an opportunity for an IT intern with a career aspiration and passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. The intern will actively participate in part-time month-long rotation program contributing to meaningful projects and work closely each week with their hosting department in Agile Services, Information Security, Insurance Applications, and the IT Project Management Office (PMO).

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and fulfilling tasks set out by managers from several IT departments

  • Take part in job shadowing/hands-on activities (i.e., pair programming, attending daily stand-ups, ceremonies, and retrospectives)

  • Attending meetings and taking notes

  • Create and develop presentations using Microsoft Office Tools but not limited to PowerPoint

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work well in teams

  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Highly organized and ability to multi-task

The pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour
