Job Summary

The Team Coach at The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America will empower agile teams to achieve peak performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. This role involves guiding teams through agile methodologies, leveraging data for insights, and facilitating digital transformation initiatives to optimize business processes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Champion and implement Agile methodologies across various teams, ensuring adherence to principles and practices.
  • Actively listen to team members and stakeholders to understand challenges, opportunities, and requirements.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance team skills in areas such as requirements management, data analysis, and new technologies.
  • Apply analytical acumen and data analysis techniques to identify areas for business process improvements and measure key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive and support digital transformation initiatives, understanding the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies.
  • Provide empathetic coaching and mentoring to team members, fostering growth, collaboration, and self-organization.
  • Manage change effectively within teams, guiding them through transitions and ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Engage in requirements management to ensure clarity, alignment, and effective execution of project goals.
  • Identify and mitigate risks through robust risk management strategies and proactive problem-solving.
  • Cultivate strong relationships and exert stakeholder influence to gain buy-in and support for team objectives and initiatives.
Job Qualifications
  • Proven experience in coaching and mentoring teams within an agile environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Agile Methodology and its practical application.
  • Strong analytical acumen and proficiency in data analysis.
  • Experience with business process improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and their potential applications.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and facilitation skills.
  • A high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence.
  • Proficiency in change management principles and techniques.
  • Experience with requirements management and defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Solid understanding of risk management principles.
  • Ability to effectively influence and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Location: Three days a week at a Guardian office in Holmdel, NJ

Salary Range: $95,170.00 - $156,355.00. The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.

In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
