Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Partner with the MD to originate and manage technology and analytics driven advisory business in the Portfolio Valuations group
  • Be ready to think out-of-the-box and on-your-feet to solve client problems with technology and data science
  • Be equally comfortable pitching to clients, developing pitch materials, working with Data Scientists on proofs of concepts, liaising with our clients and our attorneys on contracts, and training and upskilling Data Scientists
  • The role requires wearing multiple hats and being hands-on and being available as required
  • This is NOT a Developer, Dev/Ops, Data Science or Data Engineering role. This role applies Data Science concepts to develop and support financial services advisory

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors and Master's in Engineering, Math, Statistics or Physics from a top tier school with a 3.5+ GPA
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in a client-facing role, such as a Big 4 or a national firm
  • Minimum 4 years professional experience managing Data Science and Analytics projects
  • Expert knowledge of Excel, Visual Basic, Python, Snowflake and a Business Intelligence tool like Sigma or PowerBI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial Services or Capital Markets experience
  • CFA or MBA
  • Experience building wrappers around LLMs is a plus
  • Some experience in a startup environment

The firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is: $145,000 - $225,000 Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as the service line and location where this position may be filled.
