Vantor is seeking an experienced Political-Military (POL/MIL) Analyst to support strategic assessments, intelligence analysis, and decision-making efforts in the GCC. The POL/MIL Analyst will research, evaluate, and analyze political, military, and security developments affecting regional and international interests. The successful candidate will produce high-quality analytical products that assess military capabilities, defense policies, leadership intentions, geopolitical trends, and regional security dynamics to support government and defense stakeholders.
Working Conditions
  • Position based in the GCC.
  • May require periodic travel within the region.
  • Ability to support mission requirements in a dynamic operational environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive political-military analysis of regional and global security issues, with a focus on the Middle East and areas of strategic interest.
  • Research and evaluate foreign military capabilities, force structures, defense modernization efforts, and operational readiness.
  • Analyze political developments, leadership intentions, diplomatic relationships, and security policies affecting regional stability.
  • Produce written intelligence assessments, briefings, reports, and strategic forecasts for senior leaders and decision-makers.
  • Monitor and assess emerging threats, geopolitical developments, and military activities.
  • Integrate information from multiple intelligence and open-source data streams to develop actionable assessments.
  • Support strategic planning, contingency analysis, and policy development initiatives.
  • Provide briefings and presentations to government, military, and executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated intelligence and operational products.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Political Science, Military Science, Intelligence Studies, International Relations, National Security Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in political-military analysis, intelligence analysis, defense studies, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience conducting POL/MIL analysis in support of government, military, intelligence, or defense organizations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of geopolitical affairs, military operations, defense policy, and regional security issues.
  • Strong analytical, research, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level reports and briefings.
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex information and producing concise, actionable assessments.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting U.S., NATO, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), or allied defense organizations.
  • Regional expertise related to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
  • Experience working in joint, coalition, or multinational environments.
  • Advanced degree in Political Science, International Relations, Security Studies, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
