Job description

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
The International Program Coordinator will coordinate and manage international exchange programs under DBU's Global Community Partners initiative, with a strategic emphasis on Asia. These institutional programs will support student mobility, academic collaboration, and global engagement.
  • Ensure international programs align with DBU's mission and strategic goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between DBU and international institutions, fostering strong and sustainable cross-cultural relationships.
  • Promote effective communication and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree in Business, International Relations, Education, or a closely related field required. Multidisciplinary experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated 5+ years of experience in international program coordination, global partnership development, or cross-border academic collaboration.
  • Strong knowledge of international higher education systems and global engagement practices.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder international initiatives.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across academic and administrative units.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools; multilingual ability preferred.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead coordination of complex international partnerships involving multiple institutions and stakeholders while ensuring academic quality remains intact.
  • Verify that all accreditation and regulatory requirements are compliant.
  • Manage logistics and operations for international exchange programs, including scheduling, communication, and participant services.
  • Host and coordinate international delegations, strengthening institutional relationships.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate global engagement into academic and co-curricular programming.
  • Contribute to strategic planning efforts related to internationalization.

OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain comprehensive records of international partnerships, agreements, and program outcomes including KPI.
  • Support reporting and compliance requirements related to global partnerships.
  • Monitor partnership goals and ensure benchmarks are achieved as scheduled.
  • Participate in academic events supporting global engagement.

WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a part-time position.
WORK LOCATION:
This position will work on the main campus, located at 3000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211
