Job description

The Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung New York Office is seeking a contractor to support the office's documentation processes.

Type of work:

  • Prepare, sequence, scan, and upload financial and administrative documents into the organization's proprietary accounting system, ensuring records are accurately digitized and filed.
  • Identify missing or incomplete documentation and communicate with Finance Director to resolve discrepancies.
  • Handle all records in accordance with the office's documentation procedures and maintain strict confidentiality.

Contract Details

  • Contract period: One year, beginning September 1, 2026.
  • Schedule: Flexible business hours. 15 hours per month.
  • Location: On-site, Midtown Manhattan, if possible remotely
  • Compensation: USD $35 per hour, 1099.

Requirements

The candidate must be legally authorized to perform services as an independent contractor in the United States.
