Position Summary

The Hybrid Internal Sales Consultant is responsible for driving annuity sales and advisor engagement through a blended internal and external wholesaling model. This role supports financial advisors through virtual engagement, phonebased consultation, and periodic inperson meetings, delivering product education, case consultation, and sales support across a defined territory.

The ideal candidate combines strong annuity expertise, consultative sales skills, and the ability to build trusted advisor relationships across multiple distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and grow annuity sales within an assigned territory through a hybrid internal/external approach
  • Conduct virtual and inperson meetings with financial advisors to educate on annuity products, features, and applications
  • Provide advanced case design and sales support, including income planning, retirement solutions, and wealthtransfer strategies
  • Identify new advisor opportunities and deepen relationships with existing producers
  • Maintain detailed activity, pipeline, and sales reporting via CRM
  • Stay current on product developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with marketing, sales management, and operations teams to drive growth and service excellence

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services sales, with annuity wholesaling experience strongly preferred
  • Thorough understanding of fixed, fixed indexed, and/or variable annuity products
  • Proven ability to influence and educate financial advisors in a consultative sales environment
  • Strong phone, virtual presentation, and inperson communication skills
  • Demonstrated success managing a sales territory and driving results
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed

Licenses & Certifications

  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 required
  • FINRA Series 63 (or 66) required
  • Life & Health Insurance license required
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) required
