OEM Internal Sales Representative

About the Role:

The OEM Internal Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the OEM sales team with any requests they may have to help drive business and support our OEM customers. This will include assisting outside sales representatives by managing customer inquiries, processing sample orders, and maintaining customer relationships through phone and email communication. This role bridges communication between clients, sales managers, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of sales operations.

Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Provide detailed product information tohelpcustomerswithpurchasing decisions.

Order Management

  • Process customersampleorders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions.

Sales Support

  • Prepare sales materials and presentations for outside sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage loyalty.
  • Follow up on leads generated by the outside sales team to nurture potential sales opportunities.
  • Visit customers on occasion to enhance relationships and support the outside sales team.

Organizational Alignment

  • Work closely with theNew Product Development Project Manager to ensure alignment across the sales and product development functions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3yearsof experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development.
  • Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills; ability to translate complex product features into business value.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a high level of comfort using Excel for pricing models and PowerPoint for pitches.
