This remote position provides the flexibility to work from any location within California, complemented by the structure of regular office hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. • Conduct individual, couple, and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the emotional needs of clients, effectively using established therapeutic techniques.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ strengths, challenges, and specific needs, which will guide the therapeutic process.
• Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and dynamic, taking into account the progress and feedback from clients.

  For example, you may incorporate cognitive-behavioral techniques or mindfulness practices based on client suitability.

• Accurately maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and clients' progress, adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality protocols.
• Facilitate collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed in urgent situations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by keeping abreast of the latest research, and innovations in mental health practices, and participate in training sessions when offered.

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families facing various emotional and behavioral issues. You will be instrumental in helping clients address anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and other mental health crises, making your contribution crucial to their healing journey.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid LMFT license in the state of California is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with colleagues.
• Proficient in using digital platforms for therapy delivery and record-keeping, along with a solid understanding of telehealth best practices.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy in clinical or outpatient settings.
• Experience working with a variety of therapeutic modalities is preferred, emphasizing a flexible approach to meet diverse client needs.
