Job description:

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Human Resources Intern to join our team at RONA. The intern will directly support the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) responsible for the B2B Professional Sales and Store Operations Support sectors in carrying out their responsibilities.

The HRBP partners with managers to support the management of their teams by providing guidance on employee-related matters, recruitment, talent development, and employee and labor relations.

This role is ideal for a university student looking to gain hands-on experience in human resources, particularly in conflict management, the application of employment laws and labor standards, and performance management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assist the HRBP in coordinating HR projects;
  • Perform various administrative tasks to support the HRBP;
  • Provide HR support for the daily operations of a corporate associate client group that supports stores and professionals across the country;
  • Use computer systems and tools such as Excel to analyze and manage data;
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills we are looking for:

  • Full-time, paid internship from September 8 to December 18.
  • University student in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Strong proficiency in computer systems, especially Excel;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and solution-oriented mindset;
