This is a Fall 2026 internship*

An internship in Corporate Finance at National Bank means contributing to financial analysis, process optimization and the development of tools that support the organization's strategic decisions. This job allows you to make a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your knowledge of finance, data and analytics.

Your role

  • Improve an analytics environment SQL/SAP/Excel.
  • Set up or improve Excel analysis tools and develop dashboards.
  • Participate in capital monitoring calculations.
  • Develop liquidity monitoring measures and forecasting supervision tools.
  • Analyze the bank's revenues and expenses at different levels.
  • Evaluate client profitability.
  • Optimize our methods and simplify disclosure and management analysis with different business lines.
  • Automate tasks related to the real estate business strategy using tools such as Power Platform.
 

Your team: 

Within the Finance sector, you will be part of a team of more than 600 colleagues and report to the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis. Internships are currently available within the Financial Performance Management, Performance, Financial Planning and Capital, Treasury Analysis and Finance Evolution.

We favor a variety of forms of continuous learning to enrich your development, including learning in action, training content made available to you and you will have the opportunity to put your learning into practice and live a dynamic experience by working in collaboration with colleagues of diverse expertise and profiles.

 

Prerequisites :

  • 1st or 2nd university cycle student in a field related to data finance mathematics  or business analytics .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely.
  • Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of artificial intelligence.
  • Programming knowledge, e.g. Python, SQL or VBA.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
