What you will do

Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an inperson Project Analysis Accounting Internship supporting our SilentAire business, located in Nisku, Alberta. SilentAire is a global leader in missioncritical cooling solutions for data centers.

This internship is designed to provide handson exposure to project accounting and financial analysis in a complex, projectbased manufacturing and services environment. You will support accounting and finance professionals who partner closely with project managers and operations teams.

How you will do it

  • Assist with project financial tracking, including cost analysis, revenue recognition support, and variance review

  • Support monthend and periodend accounting activities related to project reporting

  • Help maintain accurate project documentation and financial records

  • Analyze project data to support forecasting, budgeting, and financial decisionmaking

  • Prepare basic financial reports, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Project Management, Operations, and Finance

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency

  • Other duties and learning opportunities may be assigned based on business needs

Required qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a fulltime student at an accredited college or university

  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic financial tools

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Legal authorization to work in Canada

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $20.00 - $24.00 CAD/hour
(Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
