MHI is seeking a Territory Manager who is driven to grow business, expand market share, and build lasting customer relationships.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly motivated, competitive, and relationship-focused, with a passion for identifying opportunities, solving customer challenges, and delivering results. The Territory Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and strengthening MHI's presence within their assigned market.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on increasing revenue and  market share
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and target markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Conduct sales calls, site visits, equipment demonstrations, and customer presentations
  • Partner with customers to understand operational needs and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure exceptional customer experience and support
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Represent MHI professionally within the territory and industry
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage activities, opportunities, and customer information

Expected Outcomes (KPIs)

  • Achieve or exceed territory revenue goals
  • Increase market share within assigned territory
  • Generate consistent new customer acquisition and business development activity
  • Grow equipment, service, parts, rental, and solutions revenue
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast accuracy
  • Improve customer retention and account penetration
  • Build  long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business
  • Contribute to overall branch and company growth objectives

Background & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, account management, or a related role
  • Experience in material handling, industrial equipment, construction, manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities and close business independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience  utilizing CRM systems and sales tools
  • Valid  driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory
