Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience working in a creative discipline (e.g., writing, filmmaking, video editing, design, art direction, photography), leading creative projects from creative brief through launch.
  • Experience in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
  • Experience balancing multiple simultaneous projects and managing prioritized work.
  • Portfolio of creative work demonstrating visual design, digital design, and digital product design, showcasing conceptual and execution across multiple disciplines.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working on big, integrated campaigns or collaborating across different projects. Knowing and having an opinion about Google's products and brand.
  • Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions.
  • Passion for diving into emerging technologies and seeing how they can positively impact the world and transform the creative landscape.

We are seeking a multidisciplinary creative who is an AI enthusiast with a creative spark and a desire to shape the future of creative endeavors. This role calls for someone who thinks in pictures, motion, interactions, experiences, words and sound, comfortable designing a perfectly executed poster as well as designing how a new piece of technology might live in the world. You will be innovative and will be instrumental in pushing the boundaries of what AI can achieve in the world of creativity, user experience, and communications.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
  • Spot design challenges, figuring out smart, creative ways to make things better. You'll address problems by leveraging creative solutions, new tools, and deliver original content or digital experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members including marketing managers, writers, filmmakers, programmers, and producers to deliver integrated creative solutions. Communicate on project status, ideas, questions, and progress to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Identify and explore complex user challenges and propose creative solutions. Demonstrate understanding of the impact of your creativity on product value, user needs, business goals, and brand.
  • Partner with production and marketing counterparts to deliver concepts and drive them through to execution.
