Job Title: Corporate Marketing Storytelling Intern
Location: San Jose, CA
Education: Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or related field
Micron's Global Communications & Marketing (GCM) team is looking for a creative, curious, and highly organized Corporate Marketing Storytelling Intern to support the development of strategic content and storytelling initiatives. This role will help identify, research, and develop stories that showcase Micron's impact across technology innovation, AI, global expansion, workforce development, community investment, and industry partnerships.
Working alongside the Content Strategy team, the intern will gain hands-on experience in corporate storytelling, editorial planning, digital content development, and AI-enabled content creation while helping shape how Micron communicates with key audiences around the world.
Responsibilities
  • Research emerging trends, company milestones, and industry topics to identify potential storytelling opportunities.
  • Support the development of content tied to Micron's strategic narratives, including AI, technology leadership, manufacturing expansion, workforce development, and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Conduct research from internal and external sources to strengthen stories and content.
  • Assist with editorial planning, content mapping, and content calendar management.
  • Draft content outlines, blog concepts, story briefs, executive profiles, and campaign supporting materials.
  • Help identify customer, partner, employee, and community stories that demonstrate Micron's real-world impact.
  • Use AI tools to support research, ideation, content development, and workflow efficiency.
  • Analyze corporate, technology, and competitor storytelling approaches to identify best practices and opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Communications, Digital, and Business Units as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in storytelling, content marketing, journalism, communications, or digital media.
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$43.15 - $43.15 an hour
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
