We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive BIM Coordinator Intern to support our field operations and project team onsite in Sullivan, IN. This role works closely with onsite personnel, design teams, and trade partners to assist with design, coordination, and install of complex structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
We are looking for a highly motivated College BIM Coordinator Intern/Coop, who is passionate about the construction process to join our team. At ARCO, an Intern/Co-op has the opportunity to assist with the following:
  • Work closely with the technical BIM advisor in the onsite field office.
  • Participate in BIM set-up and coordination processes for project phases.
  • Attend BIM coordination meetings with engineering and construction teams, trade partners, vendors, and design partners.
  • Assist project teams with RFIs, submittals, coordination, and issue resolution related to BIM and coordinated design information.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0.
  • Ability to work onsite in the fall, spring or summer.
  • Local to Sullivan, Indiana or able to commute daily
  • Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related degree programs.
  • Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience using Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Procore, and Bluebeam preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic
