Job Summary:

We are seeking individuals with experience in Intermodal Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Class 1 railroads, intermodal rail operations, drayage management, and customer service. This role requires expertise in coordinating intermodal movements and ensuring smooth operations across multiple rail networks and delivering best in class customer service - while joining a team that lives by our core values: Customer Obsessed, Team Focused, Be Valuable, Do the Right Thing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Order acceptance, order entry, planning, and scheduling of intermodal rail shipments
  • Coordinating with Knichel Logistics rail and drayage partners to ensure the appropriate capacity and service to meet our customers needs.
  • Consistent monitoring of intermodal shipments to ensure on-time pick-up and delivery while proactively identifying and resolving any shipment/account problems.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively, ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to enhance service offerings and align with customer expectations.

    • 3 years of experience in logistics, specifically intermodal customer service and operations.
