Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Des Moines, IA

Specialty: Labor & Delivery

Position Type: Travel

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Compensation: $2284 - $2752 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering comprehensive care to patients undergoing antepartum, C-section, and vaginal deliveries.
  • Managing high-risk obstetric cases and administering medications such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin.
  • Providing support across multiple campuses as required.
  • Utilizing EPIC EMR for precise documentation.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Current Iowa or compact/multistate RN license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Labor & Delivery setting.
  • Experience in high-risk obstetrics within a level I trauma facility.
  • Completion of at least one travel assignment in the last 12 months.
  • Intermediate or Advanced EFM/AWHONN certification.
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR.
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA).
