PGAL is a national design firm specializing in architecture, interiors, engineering, and planning for a diverse group of public and private sector clients. We believe great design grows from a supportive and energized environment. That’s why we encourage initiative, value diverse perspectives, and give team members the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of their work. From your first day at PGAL, you will be part of a collaborative process where your voice matters and your contributions make a real impact. If you are seeking a firm where design excellence is matched by commitment to professional development and a culture that values people, PGAL offers a place to thrive and grow.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented 3D artist with a passion for creating visually compelling architectural imagery and cinematic content. The ideal candidate will bring strong visualization skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Expertise in 3ds Max and V-Ray, along with proficiency in Photoshop and After Effects, is essential. Experience with ComfyUI and AI-assisted image and video workflows is strongly valued, including the use of generative AI for concept development, image enhancement, controlled editing, animation, and final production.

Familiarity with additional visualization platforms such as Unreal Engine, Lumion, and Enscape is also valued. Strong artistic judgment, sketching ability, and the capacity to communicate ideas visually are important attributes.

We are looking for someone eager to grow both technically and creatively. Team members are encouraged to pursue their individual interests, whether exploring emerging visualization technologies, developing AI workflows, influencing the creative direction of marketing imagery, producing cinematic content, or capturing site photography with drones and cameras.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Produce high-quality, photorealistic 3D imagery for architecture and design projects
  • Interpret and accurately model from architectural drawings, plans, and design concepts
  • Manage timelines effectively and prioritize deliverables across multiple projects
  • Collaborate with the team to develop compelling compositions, staging, visual storytelling, and overall creative direction
  • Experiment with emerging tools, techniques, and workflows to improve productivity and visual quality
  • Develop AI-assisted image and video content using ComfyUI and other generative tools
  • Integrate AI-generated content into traditional visualization pipelines while maintaining architectural accuracy, design intent, and visual consistency
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and continuously improve model, material, image, and animation quality
  • Contribute creatively to presentations, marketing imagery, animations, and other forms of design communication
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficiency in 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, and After Effects
  • Experience with ComfyUI or comparable node-based generative AI platforms
  • Ability to combine traditional 3D rendering, AI-generated content, and post-production into a cohesive final product
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Enscape, Lumion, or similar real time visualization software
  • Strong understanding of lighting, materials, color theory, composition, and cinematic image-making
  • Advanced Photoshop compositing skills, including masking, material refinement, entourage integration, sky replacement, atmospheric effects, retouching, and color grading
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings while preserving design accuracy throughout the visualization process
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for continued artistic and technical development
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Digital Media, or a related field preferred
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Experience with AI video tools and techniques for generating cinematic motion from still imagery
  • Experience leading visualization projects and coordinating deliverables across project teams
  • Interest in emerging visualization technologies, generative AI models, and evolving production methods
  • Experience with photography, videography, drone operation, or traditional illustration
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
