This role is based at our surgical center in Tampa, Florida, designed to facilitate a collaborative and efficient healthcare delivery system. In this onsite setting, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology to support advanced pain management practices, ensuring a comfortable environment for both staff and patients.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including taking detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations to determine the source and extent of pain conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing a holistic and multidisciplinary approach that includes medication management, interventional procedures, and alternative therapies as needed.
• Administer pain management techniques, monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment protocols as required to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications, and the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and continuous improvement in patient management.
• Stay informed about advancements in pain management and contribute to ongoing educational programs for staff and patients.

The Physician Assistant will work with a diverse patient population experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions. Our clinic primarily serves individuals suffering from conditions such as back pain, arthritis, post-surgical pain, and neuropathic pain. These patients often face unique challenges related to their pain management, and your role will be pivotal in helping them navigate their treatment journeys and improve their overall quality of life.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies is required.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) by the appropriate medical board.
• Ability to demonstrate clinical competency and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.

• At least one year of experience as a Physician Assistant, with a strong preference for those who have worked in pain management or related fields.
• Experience with various pain management techniques and familiarity with interventional procedures is highly desirable.

• The position offers an annual salary between $120,000 and $140,000, commensurate with experience.
