Seeking Interim Director of Nursing in Massachusetts

1099 Contract Position

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing DON/DNS who is a Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 5 years of nursing leadership experience in long-term care/skilled nursing settings for locations in Massachusetts. This position is an Interim/Temporary/Contractor role. 

The Director of Nursing is a Registered Nurse who demonstrates superb leadership qualities, will lead by example and demonstrate a willingness and interest in helping out at all levels of operations. The Director of Nursing assumes responsibility and accountability for all nursing and clinical services. Your overall direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services helps us maintain consistent, quality care. 

**Must hold a valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse license

**Locations include West Newton & Plymouth

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a current MA license in good standing, required.
  • Hold a current CPR certification & ICP certification
  • At least five years’ experience in long-term care setting, with 3-5 years as Director of Nursing.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long term care.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
