Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interim Director of Nursing (DON) role in a long-term care setting, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active MN RN license.

Details
  • Post-acute/long-term care (LTC) management setting
  • Serves as interim DON with floor coverage responsibilities as needed
  • Day shift, 8-hour shifts
  • Work week runs Sunday through Saturday
  • No on-call or call-back responsibilities
Requirements
  • Active MN RN license required (must be active, pending licenses not accepted)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required — no exceptions
  • Computerized charting experience required
  • Driver's license required
  • 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
  • Responsible for interim DON leadership duties, including floor coverage to fill staffing needs as required
  • Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are accepted at a local pay rate
  • If facility-provided housing is used, local pay rates apply
