About the Job
General Summary of Position
Responsible for coordinating and/or implementing online customer acquisition and retention strategies for hospital integrated businesses and MedStar corporate through search engine marketing.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinates the management and launch of digital marketing campaigns. Aligns the campaigns and initiatives with the Interactive Marketing team and Social Media Marketing team's efforts. Ensures that campaigns align with both overall digital marketing strategy as well as the local hospital or service line business goals.
  • Assists in bid management keyword research and campaign/landing page setup tracking and reporting.
  • May perform QA on all landing pages built internally. May conduct A/B testing utilizes heat mapping and other tactics to analyze landing pages/assets and makes strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Assists in managing email marketing programs to drive patient retention and reactivation.
  • Assists in reporting development and distribution.
  • Manages campaigns and landing pages across all digital channels including but not limited to: SEM/PPC CPC CPM banner and email.
  • Supports strategic planning based on digital data collected through digital marketing efforts.
  • Uses digital data to evaluate the degree of success of campaigns and update best practices for future campaigns.

Minimal Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field required

Experience
  • 1-2 years Experience in marketing and communications/public relations required
  • Experience in paid search engine marketing and health care preferred

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Analytical organized and efficient - often managing multiple Google Ads campaigns and priorities at one time.
  • Individual should have strong understanding of search engine marketing particularly with Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • A track record delivering projects and completing tasks on time.
  • Solid understanding of online marketing reporting and quantitative analysis.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills: enthusiastic team player professional well organized self-starter serious commitment to hard work.
  • Strong understanding of Internet technologies and stay regularly informed of industry changes and advances.
  • A self-starter with technical and analytical knowledge.
