Job description


The Human Resources Operational Integrity Advisor drives accuracy, compliance, and consistency across Badger's processes, records, and workforce data, reporting to the Director, Human Resources Operations. The role brings discipline and accountability through auditing, records management, data governance, reporting, and workforce dashboards/analytics, keeping HR data secure and audit-ready. Beyond executing existing processes, the Advisor helps build and mature the frameworks behind these programs and uses strategic problem solving to produce best in class results. Through cross-functional collaboration, they drive continuous improvement in HR operations.
The compensation for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Manages and maintains human resources standard operating procedures library and ensures documents are current and execution-ready for all employee transactions across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, job changes, leaves, and terminations.
  • Documents state, provincial, and federal employment-law-specific processes and variations, achieved by partnering with HR Field Services and the HR Shared Services Managers and supporting timely updates aligned to approved standards.
  • Executes and advances the HR records digitization roadmap established by HR Operations, supporting the transition from fragmented or manual recordkeeping to a centralized, secure digital employee file environment.
  • Serves as the primary operational point of contact for HR-related audits, inspections, and data validation requests, coordinating documentation and data outputs as directed by HR Operations leadership.
  • Provides accurate, certified workforce data and documentation to internal stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, and Contracts, to support State and Provincial Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other external requirements.
  • Maintains recurring compliance and integrity reporting for the Director, HR Operations, summarizing audit results, error trends, recurring risks, and overall HR execution health across North America.
  • Uncovers emerging risks, patterns, or execution gaps and provide data-backed insights to inform process improvements or additional controls.

What You'll Need for Success:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, information management, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience accepted.
  • Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) certification or working towards certification preferred.
  • Additional education or certification in records management, compliance, auditing, data governance, privacy, or business analytics.
  • Demonstrates 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, HR Shared Services, HRIS, compliance, records management, or a related operational role.
  • Experience working with HR systems and employee records.
  • Experience supporting audits, quality assurance activities, process documentation, or compliance initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
