Job description

Job Title: .NET Backend Developer - ERP & Integration Focus
Location: Omaha, NE
Experience Level: 4+ years
Pay rate : $32.00/hr. on W2
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled .NET Backend Developer with experience in building microservices, console applications, and integrating with enterprise systems such as NetSuite ERP. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SOAP Web Services, scheduled jobs (Cron), and CI/CD tools like Jenkins. You will play a key role in automating business workflows and financial integrations, particularly around payroll and invoicing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET Web API microservices and console applications.
  • Implement and manage Cron-based triggers for scheduled job execution.
  • Integrate with third-party systems such as NetSuite and Paycom Payroll via SOAP Web Services.
  • Parse and process payroll-generated CSV files to compute financial data (debit/credit) and generate Journal Entries in ERP systems.
  • Utilize Bitbucket for version control; manage feature branches, perform code commits, and conduct Pull Request (PR) reviews.
  • Use Jenkins for building and deploying applications across development and production environments.
  • Collaborate closely with the DevOps team to resolve deployment and configuration issues.
  • Participate in solution design and architecture discussions to optimize application performance and reliability.

Required Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET (C#) for backend development.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, and data integration.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP or similar financial/ERP platforms.
  • Proficiency in Bitbucket, Jenkins, and working in a CI/CD environment.
  • Experience with CronJob, console applications, and scheduling tools.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills for working with data transformation and automation workflows.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Paycom Payroll or other payroll systems.
  • Familiarity with financial processes, including journal entry creation and invoice generation.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and containerization (e.g., Docker, ECS).
