Job Summary:
Great West Casualty Company is a premier insurance provider dedicated to the success and wellness of its employees. They are seeking an experienced Systems Integration Manager to lead the integration service team, overseeing the design, development, and operation of system integrations while driving architecture standards and improving reliability.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop a team of Engineers; providing coaching, direction, and performance management
• Own the end-to-end delivery, quality, and operational stability of system integrations
• Guide technical design and integration architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise and security standards
• Partner with cross-functional teams—including Architecture, Security, Compliance, and Guidewire Platform teams—to ensure integrations meet regulatory and business requirements
• Oversee monitoring, incident response, release coordination, and change management for integration services
• Drive modernization efforts such as API-first designs, event-driven patterns, cloud capabilities, and automation
• Manage vendor relationships and contribute to technology strategy and tooling decisions
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years in software engineering or application system management
• 3+ years leading or managing technical teams
• Strong depth in APIs, messaging, ETL, and batch integrations
• Experience in regulated, high-availability environments
• A strategic, collaborative leader who drives results, solves complex problems, and inspires high performance
Preferred:
• Background with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps/CI/CD, or integration middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, Kafka, MQ)
• Nice to have; hands-on experience integrating Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter
