Job description

We Are Looking For

We are looking for an E-Commerce Systems & Integrations Manager to own and optimize Arrae's Shopify ecosystem and connected e-commerce tools. This role serves as the technical backbone of the E-Commerce team, ensuring backend systems are clean, scalable, reliable, and fully functional across all digital touchpoints.

This person will act as the bridge between Product, UX, Development, Growth, Retention, Operations, and Customer Support, supporting everything from Shopify backend management to integrations, tracking, troubleshooting, and launch readiness. You'll be responsible for resolving issues at the root, improving system reliability, and ensuring data, tools, and processes function seamlessly as the business scales.

The ideal candidate is highly hands-on, detail-oriented, and deeply solution-driven. Someone who thrives in complexity, takes ownership of broken systems, and is motivated by turning messy processes into clean, scalable infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities
  • Own the day-to-day health of Arrae’s Shopify backend, including products, variants, pricing, collections, subscriptions, bundles, and navigation.
  • Manage discount code setup, performance, and troubleshooting, ensuring correct stacking, eligibility, expiration, and accuracy across campaigns.
  • Act as the primary technical escalation point for Customer Support, resolving issues related to orders, subscriptions, pricing, and checkout behavior.
  • Investigate root causes behind recurring customer or system issues and implement long-term fixes to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Perform pre- and post-launch QA for products, promotions, landing pages, PDP updates, and experiments to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  • Own Shopify app setup, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting, including resolving app conflicts and integration issues.
  • Oversee and manage e-commerce integrations across Shopify, subscription platforms, analytics tools, and lifecycle systems.
  • Manage and optimize subscription platforms (e.g., Recharge), including setup, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Support tracking and analytics implementation, including pixels, event tracking, tagging, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Partner with Growth and Product teams to ensure accurate tracking for campaigns, experiments, and attribution.
  • Maintain clean system architecture through documentation, tagging rules, and operational guidelines.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure systems support launches, campaigns, and ongoing feature development.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scalability, performance, and efficiency across the entire e-commerce tech stack.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience in e-commerce or digital operations (DTC experience preferred).
  • Strong hands-on experience with Shopify and Shopify admin tools.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues across products, pricing, discounts, subscriptions, or checkout.
  • Familiarity with integrations across e-commerce tools and platforms.
  • Experience working with subscription platforms (e.g., Recharge or similar).
  • Understanding of tracking, pixels, and event-based analytics.
  • Familiarity with APIs and how systems communicate across tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Growth, Development, and Customer Support teams.
  • Comfortable managing multiple systems and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Liquid.
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify analytics).
  • Familiarity with tagging frameworks (e.g., Google Tag Manager).
  • Experience supporting A/B testing or experimentation setups.
  • Experience performing QA, UAT testing, or launch validation.
  • Experience documenting systems and operational processes.
  • Familiarity with multi-currency or international storefronts.

Who You Are
  • Highly systems-minded and detail-oriented—you naturally think in processes and structure.
  • A proactive problem-solver who defaults to “how do we fix this?” rather than blocking decisions.
  • Calm under pressure and confident handling live site or customer-impacting issues.
  • Detail-obsessed—you catch inconsistencies and edge cases others miss.
  • Technically curious and eager to learn new tools and integrations.
  • Collaborative and communicative across both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Motivated by building scalable, reliable systems that improve performance over time.
