The Job at a Glance

At Parts Town, integration is a core enterprise capability — not just plumbing. As Senior Principal – Integration Lead, you will own the design, governance, and execution of our integration ecosystem, spanning Boomi middleware, APIs, EDI, and orchestration patterns.

This role is accountable for enabling seamless, scalable, and secure data flow across SAP, Salesforce, WMS, eCommerce, and external partners — powering everything from customer APIs to warehouse operations and trading partner connectivity.

You will operate as the enterprise authority on integration architecture and delivery, ensuring we move toward a modern, API-first, event-driven, and composable architecture aligned with our “One Platform, Many Journeys” strategy.

This role is critical to delivering the enterprise integration vision outlined in our broader platform strategy, where integration is a foundational enabler of business capability and digital scale

A Typical Day

Integration Strategy & Architecture

  • Define and lead the enterprise integration strategy
  • Establish API-first, event-driven, reusable patterns
  • Standardize data models, messages, and integration design

Delivery Leadership

  • Lead integrations across SAP, WMS, eCommerce, and external platforms
  • Serve as integration lead for ERP transformation and M&A
  • Ensure delivery quality via design governance, testing, and release discipline

Boomi Platform

  • Own Boomi as the enterprise iPaaS
  • Scale for resiliency and reuse
  • Reduce point-to-point and legacy complexity

API Ecosystem (Internal & External)

  • Lead API strategy and lifecycle management
  • Enable scalable customer/partner integrations
  • Set standards for security, versioning, and performance

EDI & Trading Partner Integration

  • Own EDI strategy and operations
  • Standardized trading-partner onboarding (customers, suppliers, partners)

Orchestration & End-to-End Flows

  • Design integrations for critical flows (O2C, fulfillment, CX)
  • Enable cross-platform orchestration and automation

Observability & Reliability

  • Implement end-to-end monitoring and alerting
  • Improve uptime, MTTR, and integration SLAs

Governance & Security

  • Enforce standards, controls, and ITGC compliance
  • Ensure secure, auditable, resilient data exchange

To Land This Opportunity

  • You bring 8-10 years of integration firepower—APIs, middleware, and EDI included.
  • You’ve gone deep with Boomi  and can lead it like an enterprise product.
  • You’ve successfully connected complex ecosystems—SAP, WMS, Salesforce, and external partners—without breaking the business.
  • You think API-first and build for the future with event-driven architecture patterns that scale.
  • You’ve thrived in distribution, eCommerce, or other high-volume environments where speed and reliability matter.
  • You love to work collaboratively with the team and share new concepts and ideas – SAP is a team sport here.
