The Supervising Mail Operations Pharmacist registered Pharmacist who is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients. The Supervising Mail Operations Pharmacist works within thorough, prescribed guidelines and procedures; uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems; collaborates with management and top professionals/specialists in selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approach.
The Supervising Mail Operations Pharmacist oversees daily mail-order pharmacy operations, ensuring the accurate, safe, and compliant dispensing and distribution of medications. This role leads pharmacy associates, supports quality standards, and drives operational excellence.
As a Supervising Mail Operations Pharmacist you will:
  • Oversee daily mail-order pharmacy workflow and operations.
  • Ensure prescription accuracy, quality assurance, and medication tracking standards are met.
  • Verify medication orders for safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise, coach, and support pharmacy associates.
  • Resolve escalated operational and dispensing issues.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and service performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations and policies.
  • Maintain required documentation and support audit readiness.
  • Hold associates accountable for quality, compliance, and performance expectations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, or a PharmD
  • Licensed as a PHARMACIST in Arizona
  • Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
  • Minimum of one year Supervisory experience or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Proven organization and effective time management skills
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills
  • Proficient with computers
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a high volume mail order and/or retail setting

Additional Information
  • Hours of operations Monday- Friday 4:30am to 5pm
  • Normally 10 hours shifts, 4 days a week.
  • This is an Onsite Position: located at Riverside Distribution Facility 4302 W. Buckeye Rd. Ste. 109 Phoenix, AZ 85043
  • Occasional night or weekend shift may be required

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$126,300 - $173,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
