Description
The Associate supports the customer experience of customers attending onsite and offsite events organized by the Career Center. The Associate ensures that customers receive orientation and job screening services compliant with funder policies. The Associate also manages the safe keeping and processing of customer data.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide front desk reception and customer service to patrons of the center.
  • Intake of candidates and ensure accurate data entry into relevant systems.
  • Share information about available employment opportunities within the center.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide guidance or direct candidates appropriately.
  • Assess job seekers’ needs and refer them to the appropriate Workforce1 center when necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of workforce development programs and services.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks to support the recruitment and intake process.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
  • Professional demeaner and customer service friendly.
  • Bilingual ability to speak and read in English. Bilingual Spanish speaking highly desired
  • Experience in workforce development, recruitment, or customer service is a plus.
  • Must have strong computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Experience with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) is a plus.
Salary Range: $18-$20 phr
