Job description

We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual who will join our medical team as an Intake Coordinator. In this position you will be responsible for welcoming and admitting patients to the healthcare facility, gathering their personal data and medical history, and creating patient records. Additionally, you will schedule appointments, tests, consultations, and procedures, and verify patientsโ€™ information, insurance coverage, and benefits.

You will also perform additional clerical work, such as faxing, invoicing, copying, and answering phone calls and emails. In the end, it is important to ensure compliance with the regulations and policies of our facility. Our ideal candidate for this position should have great written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and time management skills. Most importantly, the candidate should make patients feel comfortable, welcomed, and pleasant in our facility.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Welcome and admit patients to the healthcare facility
  • Gather patientsโ€™ personal data and medical history
  • Register patients and create patient records
  • Schedule appointments, tests, consultations, procedures, and medical treatments
  • Answer questions and give explanations about services and procedures
